Sasha Allen is the sole transgender openly performing artist to have reached The Battle Rounds of The Voice Live Shows. It is the norm for 21 seasons. Newtown's pair, Jim and Sasha Allen are currently in the Top 8 throughout the 21 years of the Live Shows The Voice! Sasha declared that he's transgender on the Blind Auditions package. He said to Parade.com that it took some time before making the decision. Sasha was transgender in high school and admitted that it was hard to openly reveal the vulnerability of his character to so many individuals. This past week, during fan week, the love and support of fans, their reactions and the way the people reacted that it was well-worth the risk. The Voice wasn't even around at the time we performed this track. It was an amazing surprise. It was a song we had already heard; it was one we were already thinking of arrangements for.
