Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor and a member of the SSC's board since 2011, is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the recently formed theater company Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. When she was the Artistic Director of SSC she also served as the company's producer costume/set designer composer/music director and text coach. The last year of her tenure she worked as a lighting designer and director for SSC's King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble, however in the year that she made her directorial debut.
